If you're here, you know that The Friendly Geeks at Cornerstone Printing & Imaging are sick and tired of the Bowl Championship Series. The way we see it, who wants a system that makes its selections based on the whims of opinionated sportwriters and computer polls programmed by nerds (not geeks) who know more about lines of code than the line of scrimmage.

That's why it's our duty to offer something better. While our "friends" at the BCS are trying to decide which new "tweak" to incorporate, we've devised a system that takes ALL factors into account. This includes uniforms, bad officiating, mascots, quality losses and other components ignored by the BCS.

Plus, the BS Poll is the first ranking system devised that takes fan voting into account! The BCS could care less what the fans think, but we can't think of anyone more qualified to determine the National Championship. Just click on the link below to vote in this week's BS Fan Poll, and please, vote as early and often as you like!

If we had our way, none of this would be necessary. The national title would be determined on the field in an eight-team playoff and no one could complain about the outcome being unfair. Until then, we think the BS Poll may just be the best thing going.
